What Is Provably Fair Gambling? A Crypto Player's Guide
What Is Provably Fair Gambling?
Provably fair is a cryptographic method that lets you verify each casino game outcome yourself. It exists only in crypto casinos.
How it works
Before each round, the casino publishes a hashed server seed. You contribute a client seed. After the round, the casino reveals the seed and you can re-compute the outcome yourself using server seed + client seed + nonce.
Which games support it?
- Dice, crash, mines, plinko — almost always provably fair.
- Original slots from BGaming and Hacksaw''s crypto library are increasingly provably fair.
- Live dealer games are NOT provably fair — they are audited separately.
Why it matters
You verify each round yourself, without trusting anyone. That is the point of crypto casinos.
